If I could give this 6 stars I would This tour was above and beyond what I expected. John, our driver was so nice and super friendly he went out of his way to make the day extra special for us. We had a wonderful time in the Peninsula and even seeing some of the sights around Philip Bay. Lunch was incredible and the handmade morning tea was a wonderful touch. I would super recommend the trip to the Mornington Peninsula to anyone and I am sure that they are just as amazing on the rest of their tours.View reviewAlexT7801

Professional, Fun, and Complete Took two separate tours with Wine Tours and each one has professionals who knew their subject, were timely and fun. An overview of your Wine Tours Victoria Experience
Experience one of the most delightful tine tasting tour day trips we have to offer in the Yarra Valley winery region. On this 8 hour memorable wine tour you will visit 4 or 5 of the Yarra Valley region’s finest wineries and cellar doors. You will enjoy tastings of some of the finest local wines, and have a wonderful 2-course lunch. We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Melbourne in the morning (around 9am) and drop you back off around 5:30pm.
Your Day in the Yarra Valley
Your day begins with a pickup from your hotel in the Melbourne CBD area, or public pickup area if you prefer. Then we’ll be off to the Yarra Valley wine region, along the way, we will stop for a morning tea.
Then we’ll start visiting some of the regions finest wineries, where you’ll be able to enjoy tastings from some of the finest local wine producers in the region.
We’ll then enjoy a delicious 2-Course Lunch at one of the regions finest restaurants. Once we’ve had lunch, we’ll continue on to tour some more of the regions finest wineries before heading back to Melbourne for your drop off at 5pm.
All Wine Tours Victoria guides are fully qualified and love to share their local knowledge on the Yarra Valley region. We’ll show you the top quality wineries, places for the best produce and all the local landmarks.
Each daily Yarra Valley wine tour consists of a visit to four of the regions finest wineries. You will also get to enjoy lunch at one of the top wineries in the area. All this is included in the $210 fully inclusive tour price. Itineraries are flexible and not limited so your favourite destinations in the Yarra Valley region can be included.
About the region
Winery on a cold winter’s morning in the Yarra Valley
The Yarra Valley has a cool climate for most of the year, making it perfect for top quality grape growing. Wine varieties include Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Sparkling Syles and a full range of varietals.
One of Wine Tour Victoria’s favourite Yarra Valley locations is the Domaine Chandon Winery, where visitors can taste quality sparkling wine. You’ll also be treated to the breathtaking scenery and views for which the Yarra Valley is famous for.
During the wine tour, you will get to experience a range of the other boutique wineries that dot the Yarra Valley. We are regular guests at all of the region’s top wineries, including Balgownie Estate, Coldstream Hills, Rochford, Oakridge Estate, Yering Station, Tokar Estate, De Bortoli, Dominique Portet, Fergusson Winery, Tarrawarra Estate, Punt Road, Sticks, Yileena Park and Coombe Farm.

Trevor from Wine Tours Victoria gave us a fabulous experience on our tour to Yarra Valley wineries. Took us to a couple of lovely boutique wineries.. just us no crowds and of course Chandon.. what views.He knows his wines and the area and was great company. Included was a beautiful lunch with more wine tasting and he included a stop at chocolatier on the way back. Hi

My wife and I traveled to Australia for our honeymoon and spent a day touring the Yarra Valley with Wine Tours Victoria. As it happened, we were the only people on the tour that day (not surprising, as it was a Wednesday). Situations like this have the potential for awkwardness–you’re alone with a stranger for an entire day and responsible for all of the conversation. But our experience was great from the beginning. Trevor (who runs the company) was an incredible guide–certainly knowledgeable about wine, but also warm and personable. We got to know him as well as anyone we met on our trip, and we were absolutely the better for it. (It helped that most of the wine was good, too.) We’d recommend this to anyone interested.

We had booked a group tour with Wine Tours Victoria and we were extremely lucky that we had only one other couple on the tour. The guide was very pleasant and super friendly. She guided us to some of the most beautiful Yarra Valley estates. The lunch she had booked us was fantastic (at Tokar estate). Overall we had a memorable day in great company and with the opportunity to sample some excellent wines. Highly recemmended.

We were given this day tour as a Christmas present and were totally delighted by it. We were picked up at a convenient location and then were given a fabulous day’s outing to the Yarra Valley. And best yet, were dropped off at home afterwards. The guide was friendly and extremely well informed about local history and the wines and wineries we visited and the other couple on our tour were great company.
Lunch at Tokar was excellent and the wineries also. Highly recommended for visitors and locals alike.
What’s not to love about good wine, good food and good company when someone else is driving.

Could not recommend the Yarra Valley wine tour more , whether visitors or locals. We visited excellent wineries we would never have found on our own. Trevor our driver was a great source of wine knowledge and organised a great lunch as well. as tasty nibbles from time to time. Absolutely no pressure to purchase although the quality was so high we certainly wanted to. A great day and now we want to book the Bellarine tour!
We were on a Princess cruise with a large tour group from Wisconsin. Nearly all the other guests on our tour stuck with the cruise ships shore excursions, their loss! We decided to go off the map and throw our fate to Wine Tours Victoria. We hit the jackpot with WTV and especially with Trevor, our native Aussie guide.
Trevor took us into the Yarra Valley where we visited four wineries. Our favorite was Cold Stream, where we purchased a case of wine to be shipped back to the States. The other three were of equal quality with each offering a different feel and flavor. We stopped for lunch at Ferguson’s and frankly had the best meal of our trip to that point.
Trevor kept a rolling narrative of the region, the wines and Australia in general. He was a guide, not a driver, meaning he was always with us working with the winery host to provide commentary and add his expertise to the experience. I can promise you will not receive this level of service on a large bus. There were a total of eight people on our small bus and we all got along very well.
If you’re on a cruise ship, WTV will pick you up and drop you off right at the ship with plenty of time to spare. We think Trevor was more nervous about getting back on time then we were!
To put a point on it, this was a great experience and we feel that we will always have a friend down under. We’d say one more thing to Trevor and that’s: Good on you, Mate!
